Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Seva is the highest form of creativity because any ordinary service, any ordinary work only creates something in the world, but seva creates the very you, very new you, very being which lives enlightenment.

Reminds me of the 2008 birthday piece. Both are attractive.

Anonymous said...

It is the birthday piece but in a different color
blenko often does this
to either save $$ or confuse
us as buyers.
Also sometimes they frost the birthday piece and sell it.
Strange behavior given to such a valuable piece
Blenko sells 100+ in 2 hours at over 150 per vase why would they not make a special item ?

I haven't seen a comment with my name in months.
If you want this to be a proactive, interactive blog you must allow comments.
When you published daily post or even scheduled post the blog was smoother. Can we return to this?
Also, readers, loyal readers those of us who have been around from the entire 4 or 5 years
Margie, WV Janis, Roxie, Ram,
Susie, Sol, Andre et al deserve to hear monthly about your life.
What are you doing, where are you, did you complete your program? Did you go to work for the VA? Did you decide to follow your heart to a small WV town?
Did Ms B remain with you? Is her health good? Did you find that 2 bedroom 2 bathroom farm house?
These and many other questions cross my mind once a month or so.
You made us feel like a community (tho we all understand we are strangers - friends really who have not yet met).
The obit for Bruce's wife was a beautiful gesture. Let us return to the days of civil behavior.
As readers who will make gentle if not always positve comments while you glass doc cheer us on to purchase Blenko and products from WV.
Please return.

I wrote to ask you if Blenko made Rondels, we heard they stopped and your response was to cut and paste something as a reply. No mention of price or available colors etc.
What is the issue here?
