Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

West Virginia Birthday #150 - Blenko Glass Birthday Vase

If you haven't made your travel plans to attend the WV Birthday - Blenko Glass
event  you'll want to do this today.
Should you need information about Milton and the surround area - where to stay, where to shop within a 50 mile radius for WV Glass,  what to do while in WVa   send us an email
theblenkoproject@aol.com  and we'll send the pamphlet with this info.
Blog readers seem to saying you need to be in line before 8am on Saturday if you expect to
receive a Vase.  This is a limited edition.
As always the Blenko Glass Visitors Center will be filled with hand crafted glass ready for you to take home.   Usually Mr. Bill or Mr. Walter Blenko sign glass during this event.
We haven't yet received the days agenda from Blenko.
This is a great week to be in West Virginia -  Celebrations of the State's Birthday
is always a special occasion - even more special this year.

We could find no hotel or motel listed in Milton.
We have a reservation in Huntington.
Is Charleston closer? The mileage looked similar but I am reading where others are staying in Charleston.

Next question: Hillery will your parents garden of glass be open this year? I want to visit the garden.
