| I don't consider myself to be a 'crafty' person, but one doesn't have to be crafty for success during the Blenko Glass Festival of Glass. If you have never made anything - - - its OK the Blenko Glass craftsmen will have your back, and they'll assist you when you take one of the Festival of Glass classes, you will be delighted with your creation. Several years ago - it was the first Festival of Glass - my Dad and I both signed up for the class that allowed you to blow glass. We made three objects of art - all in a lovely orange - red color. My vase isn't completely level, but it remains of one my prize possessions, and allows for stories of he day and positive memories. Is there anything more important than stories and memories? Take the children, the grandchildren and your friends. Come to Blenko for the Aug 2-3 Festival of Glass. You'll create ( see photos below) art, but more importantly you'll create memories.
