Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Tame the Monsters with Halloween Flowers!

Wayne Husted designed BLENKO GLASS (photo)
HALLOWEEN is a perfect excuse to sent flowers, I like to use Milton Floral Milton, West Virginia. The shop serves the following areas in West Virginia: Barboursville, Culloden, Hurricane, Milton and Ona ... (also they do teleflora and offer BLENKO GLASS containers!

This has been a very busy month, one full of adventure - we are constantly learning new things at the Dental School - the clinic is busy and exciting - planning ones time is not easy. Each day is new, each person and case different. I guess this is true of all life.

If you haven't been to BLENKO GLASS Visitors Center shop in Milton http://www.blenkoglass.com/ may I suggest you drive down. The grounds are beautiful this time of year - the HOLIDAY SALES will begin in a week, but the VC has many one of a kind items that are not seen in the catalogue or on line. Plan to spend an hour or so upstairs looking at vintage BLENKO and walk around the glass garden design by Joel Myers http://www.marxsaunders.com/ . HJH

Grab a chance and you won't be sorry for a might-have-been. Arthur Ransome

"Tame the Monster with Halloween flowers"

I just love the striking connection between these words
"Monster" and "Halloween Flowers" not just flower
