Webmaster Steve provided the following info about 'marriage' the reason for the wedding - info taken from the internet.
Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual or legal union of individuals that creates kinship. This union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the married status created is sometimes called wedlock.
Marriage is an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state, by religious authority, or both. It is often viewed as a contract. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution, in accordance with marriage laws of the jurisdiction. If recognized by the state, by the religion(s) to which the parties belong or by society in general, the act of marriage changes the personal and social status of the individuals who enter into it.
People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following: legal, social, and economic stability; the formation of a family unit; procreation and the education and nurturing of children; legitimizing sexual relations; public declaration of love; or to obtain citizenship.
Marriage may take many forms: for example, a union between one man and one woman as husband and wife is a monogamous heterosexual marriage; polygamy – in which a person takes more than one spouse – is common in some societies. Some jurisdictions[4] and religious denominations recognize same-sex marriage, uniting people of the same sex.
A marriage is often formalized during a marriage ceremony, which may be performed either by a religious officiant, by a secular state authorised officiator, or (in weddings that have no church or state affiliation) by a trusted friend[citation needed] of the wedding participants. The act of marriage usually creates normative or legal obligations between the individuals involved and, in many societies, their extended families. Weddings are an important event, add BLENKO to your wedding !

why why why????? How can some be called back to work and others not? Dont understand why certain ones never was laid off. what are they doing? This company is doomed. K is a nice girl but no idea about glass making. Are you all paying bills, must be I hear you purchased new computers and cell phones. how will that get us working again? K you are spending money in the wrong way. they said it take money to make money bring all your glass workers back and spedn your money on us! we are the backbone of this company not the office, if you can't stand the heat you don't belong

I hope the girls in the office, and a few others, remember to thank all the Blenko customers who purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of glass. With this money they have purchased new cell phones, with new text messaging, and new laptop computers.---YOU GO GIRLS---Not a single layoff in the office--shipping has been able to keep working(even with little to no glass to ship).Don't worry nonworkingglassworker,at the rate they are wasting the money the loyal customers spent in the visitor's center. You will be working soon. They will need you to work just long enough to bank--hahaha--enough money to keep their pay checks coming. From what I have seen Blenko Glass has NOT valued the GLASS WORKERS For some time--work-layoff-work-layoff.......Lazy,self centered, clueless people running the company in the ground .But really Walter and Don Blenko are to blame.Putting a child in charge of immature adults. If you are one of the FEW hard working employees Run to another job ASAP.

My girlfriend now likes this blog more than I do - just gave her another chance to remind me she is almost 30 and single due to my laziness.
Why must you involve Blenko w/ weddings?

Blenko Lady I did a google of your name and found this poem perfect for your wedding day post.

.I will not lose my love for you

I will not lose my love for you,
in this you can believe.
I will not lose my love for you,
I promise I won’t leave.
I will not be like other men
a counterfeit, a fraud,
I take this vow without regret
before you, all and God.
