Shorty Finley made the glass art - the Reader
called them penguins.
In 1982 Shorty made a number of figures based on Star Wars. He ask the Blenko designer to assist him with the design then Shorty created 12 of these figures.
At this time Shorty Finley also made the Chess Set
- which was on display in the 2nd Floor Blenko Museum located in the Blenko Visitor Center.
The chess set was designed by Don Shepperd as a reward for Shorty's efforts to blow several life side
' head' figures for Shepperd. Both worked on the project on their lunch hours and after work.

Hilary for months now my comments about blenko are now appearing.
What to do?
several life size? Are these now in the Museum in WV?
