Hillary:
I took the morning off to do some photography as you seem to be in need of photos! Of course I don't know the pedigree for this BLENKO vase. It is,however, sandblasted "blenko" (lower case) on the bottom. I use it for a pillar candle holder and love the way it balances delicately on the small base. It stands eleven inches tall and is 5 1/4" in diameter. Hopefully a BLENKO expert will let us know what this is! WV Janis

Blenko 589-L in Teal and the design was by Husted. I am fascinated by the facial sculptures you have with this piece. More info please.

Thanks Bruce! Now I know what I own. You are the archives of BLENKO. DIdn't get your bargain basement price but paid less than $30. Your contributions to the blog lately have been noticeably absent. Welcome back.
The facial sculptures are by a local artist who makes them for storing reading glasses when not in use. When the reading glasses are on there it looks like a complete face. I was going for a surreal effect. I love to find items to pair with WV glass to add visual interest to photos.
