Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Response to Roxie

Response to Reader Roxie who ask if
Blenko makes table and glassware that isn't so bold in color.
The answer is YES.
This photo is of Wayne Husteds 'Raindrops' Most all Blenko items are available in crystal via catalogue and Visitors Center. hjh

Let me clear things up. These are no ordinary Blenko pieces. All of these pieces are from the rare Blenko line - Raindrops. If anyone has a piece of Raindrops they wish to get rid of please let me know.

is as always correct!
I don't have photos of crystal Blenko or the blenko with swirls of color at school.
This photo is of a collection of Husted - Raindrops is rare and highly collectible.
Sweetdoc - go to Blenko, buy what you love. I spoke with Diane this morning there are many crystal items, if you don't find what you want ASK! The folks at Blenko want to help you become a collector of Blenko.
Ask Diane at the Visitors Center to assist you with your desire for clear BLENKO. The Raindrop will not be available.
EBAY occassionally has RAINDROP it is expensive.
BLENKO like many other art glass forms often increase in value.

I sold my nana's entire collection via Blenko Project
DocGlass sent out copies of my email to her with photos and I had offers for everything except the water glasses.

You might try this.
