A photo of BLENKO (aka Miss B) with an architectural Brick (made by BLENKO GLASS).
BLENKO IDENTIFICATION -A number of people write they bought glass labled Blenko and - after some investigation found it was not BLENKO. Know what you are buying, IF you purchase from BLENKO GLASS, Milton, WV this won't be a problem. I recommend buying only from BLENKO or a dealer you KNOW. Also if you join the BLENKO COLLECTORS SOCIETY a small group of very friendly folk, who love BLENKO and WV Glass, who share freely their knowledge and experiences, your learning curve will rapidly improve. The annual meeting is in August (more about this later) - but consider joining - if you have questions I can answer write to theblenkoproject@aol.com and if I can't answer your question about the group (also they have an online site BLENKO COLLECTORS SOCIETY ) I'll put you in contact with people who can. The cost is about $50 per year and the benefits are numerous. This is a real bargain.

A Vet who shows up at Blenko frequently. They now know me by name - can you say the same?
Your 'puppy' is the cutest! What is the breed?
We bought some of the brick 2 weeks ago, the problem for me is they are not equal in size and I can't make my bed look like the one at Blenko Store.
Do they offer a service where they will do the garden bed?
I forgot to mention how beautiful the Blenko Store looks inside and out, for the 2 years we have been coming it inproves all the time.
Business must be improving or management changing, whatever, it looks lovely all the time!
Clean, colorful, and nice people.
I am intrigued by the glass in the front I want to buy everything in the garden each time, then they tell me they don't 'sell it'.
Damn.
Thanks for saying the gardens look good, was just there with Hillary's Mom and we planted some Pansy's and helped to refresh the garden. I became surpised when some flowers I planted last year (wonder about the poor little things) they are up and growing. The Blenko bricks were in good supply and I think come in 2 or 3 sizes. The glass inside and out happened to be lovely. I looked at a few things that I have to have Rog's, do you like, he happens to like the dark blue. Tell Blenko (Bea) I said she takes a beatiful picture and Morti, Cashmere and Sophie will be jealous again.
Laughing at the comments -
Your little Angel is indeed beautiful.
What can the Blenko bricks be used for? building? bookends?
One of my neighbors used the bricks to make an entry way (around his door) what do you call this its a lighted from the clear amber brick column 2 feet wide beside the entry door. Very beautiful! His contractor drove the 200+ miles to gather the brick from Blenko.
We were told they were made for the West Point, and would not again be made, so it is a limited time offer.

We volunteer with a group called Small Paws Rescue and my parents sit on the Board of the Western Pa Bichon Frise Club so I'm certain they could help you find a good Bichon - if you don't have results with the web search write again.
Wonderful animals - gentle, intelligent, great room mates.

Tell me when you will be there again. Sol and I have worked in the garden several times we have yet to meet Hillys mom or anyone of interest.
We could all go to the Milton Kitchen for lunch after working or for a drink, for us its a very long drive to be bored with the yard.
