Hilary
can you ask the thompson family to write more about the glass and their father
I want to know everything about him, what made him tick, how he got interested in glass,
what he did before, was he an artist, did he love color,
how he decided to live in milton,
how he decided to leave?
everything?

Can you tell us more about Harry Thompson when he worked what he did
why he left Blenko, or why Blenko let him leave?
Where he went after Blenko? Where we can buy glass he made?

Do you know where I can buy a cane?
My grandmother would like one of these in Navy blue with green.
send the link please or put it up here.

This is in regards to Nick's question about the cane....considering that Harry left Blenko in 1966, the cane may be an item that is not available. The craftsmen were encouraged to "play" with the glass and practice during break times. The cane pictured may be an item that Harry made during such times. My father has a few items that he made while working at Blenko. But contacting Blenko would be the best way to get any information in regards to the cane's availability.
