Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

WH ' BILL' BLENKO' Drive

I've written about the propsal to name the street in front of BLENKO GLASS BILL BLENKO DRIVE. Well the WV Legislature voted on this (and we blogged about it) the Blenko Collectors took the PHOTO - next time you drive down to Milton be certain to notice the sign. It pays honor to a most deserving family The BLENKO's of Milton, W.Va. BCS PHOTO hjh

Barbara Thank you for the comment
Let me say my research indicates there are not nearly enough women in leadership roles.
While its not a position I would ever desire, the research indicates the women who do fill these position excel in the role.
Tell your nephew I'd share my research -except - I think - I might want to teach some day - and I'm saving it - to use as a lecture.
sorry.

Nice update re: status of street.
Good for you re: request to use your research. Babs don't teach your gkids to take short cuts.
Assignments are for a purpose.
The process is as important as the end result.
Shame on you.

Dear anonymous:

Hillary strikes me as a person who tries very hard to give credit where credit is due. I can imagine that, in her effort to work and study full time and to provide this pro bono service for the blogsphere, she misses a detail here or there. Thank you for pointing out that Tammie Kosla spearheaded the Bill Blenko Drive effort.
