Blenko WV Birthday Stories - THE BOYFRIEND

What man travels almost 1,000 miles to buy a $150 vase for his girlfriend? A man whose girlfriend collects Blenko!

Kumar a young engineer from Texas flew to Cincinnati then rented a car and drove to Milton. He arrived a little before 1 on Friday.

Kumar has no Blenko Collection. He does have a girl friend who collects Blenko and the Birthday Piece will be his gift to her - a surprise. We aren't going to publish Kumar's photos so not to ruin his surprise.

Kumar's hobbies include tennis and running. He does not sell Blenko and he buys glass only for his girlfriend.

Chitra, Thank you for the message. Bone and Ever... Chitra,

Thank you for the message.

Bone and Everyone,

I am not setting any bars or standards and I was doing something which felt right to me. B is a Blenko Collector for couple of years now and this is the one thing she is most faschinated about and which she cares other than her work. Also, she was the one who introduced me to Blenko last Feb and to the blog where I leave comment every now and often and visit it everyday if I am infront of computer. She loves Blenko and cares for its culture and passion I am sure this gift will make her happy. When I visited on Friday, I was surprised by the dedication showed by a lot of people especially when the company is in hard times. I thank Ms., Mrs and Mr. Homburg for spending time in gathering stories of glass enthusiasts at the visitor center. I visited the place for the first time and I want to go back when I am in the central US next time.

A good woman is worth her weight in gold and rubies.
Don't let them discourage you.
Marry well or not at all is it the only choice.

Thank you Dr. BOB, I agree.

I don't get this. Kumar you are Hilary's boyfriend?
I feel estranged from this group an
estrangement from traditional community and others in general. Everyone knew this with the exception of me? Does this indicate my relationship to fellow members of this modern blog society is a shallower relationship /ie no one tells me 'stuff' / Kumar, you are a lucky man Dr B is correct, my questions are: How did you know to do this? Are you saying you bought the glass for B the dog?

Even I read and follow well enough the blog to know Hilary's boyfriend's name is Eon.

Correction Sol,

I am not Hillary's boyfriend. My Girlfriend's first name starts with the letter - 'B'. When I mean I agree to Dr. BOB is when he compared a 'right woman's' worth her weight in gold&jewels and I do feel the same way about my woman.

Sorry for all the confusion.
