You Can Never Be Over The Top

Its our belief when it comes to collection Blenko and American handcrafted glass their is no ceiling.

HI Hillary,
Ok, I am officially over the top now. I had purchased a mirror to install in the girls bathroom and thought wouldn't this make a neat reflecting pool for shooting some of our Blenko.

Enjoy,
Bruce
This is a group of Husted designed '57 miniatures. An Amethyst 57-D, Teal 57-B, and Gold 57-E. I have found several of these over the years and enjoy spring flowers in each.

Henry James quoted - Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.

The power of positive thinking is a powerful tool, too often we do not realise this.

There is nothing that cannot be achieved by firm imagination and if you can imagine it you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it. Just don’t say you will try, but say you will do.
Bruce is successful becauses he belives himself to be.
In Blenko Collecting and in Life
your thoughts will predict the outcome.

FACTS DO NOT CEASE TO EXIT BECAUSE THEY ARE IGNORED.
Blenko can not continue to operate without money or talented people and with enormous debt not being repaid.

I enjoy your kind of spam.
You must be highly evolved and if you collect glass
this is the right place.
The world is filled with tragedy right now. Pray for Haiti.

Hilary I keep forgetting to ask about your Mom's car, why does it take so long in WV to repair a car?
Are their no local shops?
My Benz dealer does the collision and repair in house.
When this is over, suggest they purchase outside WV.

You are right Rita,

I thought when the Blenko from Pittsburgh bought out Blenko Bill & Rick it was a good thing. But I can see now he knows nothing about running a factory. It's stupid to get rid of all the talent and knowledge of lifetime employees who have been there and know the industry. Then turn around and put a 22 year old person fresh from college in charge with no experience. I was down there a few days ago the place is about gone you can see it on the mens faces.

Blenko Glass remainds open and in business
because other members of the family stepped in.
As Blenko Collectors we owe a lot to Mr. Walter Blenko et al
his decisions re: hiring
are just this 'his decisions'.
Let us discuss collecting, the product, the color, the vintage collections, the photos of Blenko and leave management to management.
Unless you have an MBA (and you mail to theblenkoproject@aol.com a photo copy), I will not allow your very negative comments about management or youth.
You may have forgotten or else you don't care - I'm 25 -both my parents are seniors thus all age senstive comments annoy me.
This blog is for collectors and people who desire to collect and learn more about Blenko and American Glass. This is the sole purpose. I don't sell on ebay or at yard sales. My motive is pure.
I want you to learn abut glass making, and most especially West Virginia Glass.
Thank you.

You misunderstood my statement, I don't mean anything against the young lady personally. She may be the smartest Marshall grad in years all I was saying is she should be surrounded by people who have been in this industry for awhile. Coming fresh from the class room to the board room making Big $$ decisions is not easy. Because we all know the real world of Business is different than the text book. As far as being a collector I have been buying Blenko for the past 25 years, and when they needed all that money a couple of years ago to help stay in business i spent 1000.00 in the Visitor Center, so I think I do have a little right to be concerned.

Some few of us refuse to
use the blenko website or shop
at the outlet
as a protest of the firings.
We do purchase vintage and we
do support collecting
and the workers
but current management
well enuff said.
So I will not be visiting that site for colors.
Thank you for the info and suggestion
I did find colors on Blenko Collect 4 site.
