Happy Mother's Day:
To the rest of the world, in addition to West Virginia being the home of BLENKO Glass, and, at one time, over 400 glass factories, West Virginia is the home of Mother's Day.
Anna Jarvis was born a year after West Virginia became a state, in 1864 in Taylor County WV. She went on to found Mother's Day and today, her home is a museum for all to enjoy.
