These Pigs are the creation of Ron Hinkle's Dying Glass Art. http://www.hinklesglass.com/ 304 472 7963. When I started the BLENKO PROJECT http://www.blenkoproject.org/ a friend sent me a
Flying Pig - to remind me " all things are possible - if we remember to aim high, word hard."
My pig and the ones in this photo were made in Buckhannon, WV .
Now if only Ron Hinkle would make a red Flying Pig!
Hinkle is known for his exquisite art glass, lamps, shades, and object d' art. Hinkle Glass is a bit more expensive than factory made glass. Each item is handcrafted by an artist.
Check out Hinkle's Dying Glass Art.

Ron,
You made the statement 'If pigs could fly' a reality in this masterpiece. Any more colors? tangerine? ruby? Bridgett loves ruby and I sure she will appreciate the design and not just in red.

I share your desire for additonal colors and all women love the color red.

he Blenko Museum, founded in 2000 by Bill Agle, has organized and hosted three ground-breaking survey exhibitions on the historic work of the Blenko Glass Company. This website serves as an archive of the museum's activities since the closing of the physical space in 2004.
The Blenko Museum is dedicated to the memory of Winslow Anderson, Blenko's first designer. Winslow's insight, support and work along with Bill's dedication are the cornerstone and inspiration for this museum.
For Blenko identification and information visit our sister site: The Blenko Archive at www.blenkoarchive.org, the most comprehensive and authoritative source for identification of vintage Blenko glass on the Web, with full Blenko catalogs posted, color charts, detailed designer history and more.
For additional information we recommend the Newsletter archive of glasshouse.
The museum is a private, independent organization and is not affiliated with the Blenko Glass Company. I copied this from the Blenko Museum website I have questions -
My question is was this ever a real place a museum in a building?
Also why is it not affiliated with Blenko?
Next question is this person the same person who sell Blenko?

Annual WV Day Celebration. For 30 years Blenko has produced a limited edition piece to commemorate West Virginia's birthday. The state's age determines how many of these pieces are sold, and this year the number will be 147 pieces, each signed and numbered. We will also have glassblowing demonstrations available that day along with WV Birthday Cake and refreshments. Don't miss your chance to own one of these beautiful pieces. Blenko President, Walter J. Blenko, Jr. will also be on hand to sign all additional Blenko glass purchases
THOUGHT YOU SHOULD POST THIS EVERY WEEK FROM NOW TO JUNE

I will be driving in but not sure if I can make it before 5 or not but will be before night fall for the alnighter.
I just made an order on their webpage
and also requested flying pig in ruby.
Also ordered 2 lamps, I've been wanting a new lamp for sometime and will gift the other to my Mom.
Thank you Mountain Rita
I have given up the Birthday collecting, have sold most of the 17 I owned.
That collection is unworthy of my time and $$. Too expensive in the after market
and too expensive to fly to Blenko yearly.
Hilary tell them to sell this on line.
Please post the pics for birthday glass.
When pigs fly
me ole mom use to say this
frequently.
