Readers often write to ask, 'what should I collect?' The next three days we'll have photos of affordable, vintage Blenko. These are from Spect, he suggest with a few good reference books, and a lot of patience one can have show quality Blenko Glass.
This is a grouping of Husted's 5810's. Bruce Spect & Family have been picking these up for several years. From left to right: Jonquil, Jade, Persian, Mulberry, Tangerine and Turquoise.
The 5810 also comes in Charcoal.
Bruce writes : ' great design that just "pop" with those distinctive Blenko colors.

Oh Dear! Great pics and Great Glass
Charcoal is such a great tone in Grayscale and also hard to bring it in the design and make it look really good. But Wayne Husted broke the surface in experimenting and also was successful in creating masterpieces such as this one and also the 'cat' decanter, which I think is one of the greatest by Husted. Kudos to you sir. B, we should try to acquire the 'cat' decanter charcoal series.
Just wanted to add that there are several more colors that I have yet to add to this grouping. I do have the charcoal which is beautiful as well as an Amethyst in crackle. I have yet to find, at a reasonable price, Sea Green, Nile Green, Lilac , Aqua, Teal and Gold. As you can tell since these were manufactured in '58 & '59 there is a wide range of Blenko colors. As for the cat decanters, I will just have to be happy with my Chartreuse one. Found the body in a local store and then it took five years before the head came up on Ebay.
