Hillary, I would like to extend an invitation to your parents and all others who are within driving distance of Milton, to come to the Milton City Council meeting, Tues. Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. Please sign the book to speak and let our leaders know how the closing of Blenko is going to economically impact our community. We cannot fight this battle alone. If anyone is a friend of Del. Kevin Craig’s, ask him to come and put him on the spot. Our mayor and council haven’t issued a statement expressing sorrow or sadness regarding Blenko’s closure. If you are truly concerned about Blenko, the workers, and the Town of Milton, please come to the meeting. TY

If people aren't stepping up we must ask ourselves 'Why they aren't.'

I'm on rural rotation and in clinic until 7pm daily.
My parents don't read the Huntington paper, I'll let them know of the meeting however, my Dad is in Legislative Session which usually end late evenings.
We have been encouraging people and students to write local state and fed govt your mayors address is one I'm passing out.
To be honest I don't know how closing Blenko will impact Milton your or your leaders may know this. I do know it will greatly impact 50 families, and hundreds of collectors. Loosing American business is never good. Caterpillar laid off 2,100 this week. The economy continues to decline.

Warning Hilary
First the invitation is anonymous
2nd - Is this your hearts desire, to attend a meeting where the goal is to 'put people on the spot'.
We aspire to cleanliness for our bodies by washing ourselves, maintaining the clean and orderly homes, healthy food and drinking clean water. We aspire to cleanliness in our minds and speech by not polluting (them) with negativity or grasping after emoitonally and physically charged obesssions. In other words we find a balance that gives us a way to feel ourselves as clean and clear.
Stop to hear your thoughts before action.

Hilly,
Columbus is my city, let me help you with apt hunting, and getting to know Columbus. We were there for 6 years. We are there for all home games.

Sol,
Had I but remembered your connection, I would have listed you in the negative column when I evaluated OSU. I have friends with friends in Columbus, somehow I'll manage to find a proper place to live and I'll adjust w/o your help.

If this is Blenko Glass they should not be closing, but

What happened to their advertising program?

So what was the outcome of this meeting?
Did anyone take minutes?
Can someone write here about it?
Or link me to a post about this meeting? I saw nothing in the newspaper
