Did You Buy These Items? BLENKO GIFT SHOP

Blenko Glass www.blenkoglass.com Visitors Center off I -64 Milton, W.Va is OPEN again today to sell the remaining glass. The finances were shut down last week. No new glass is being made. The factory workers have been laid off until a decision is made about the future. Yesterday - - the Visitors Center had some of the ' College Logo' items in stock. A few Marshall, a number of WVU, and many UP, and other schools. These items are certain to quickly become collectors items as they were made for 2 years old and in very limited numbers. Due to lack of funds I didn't get the WVU Pitcher and Glasses or the WVU Plates something I'd planned to do after graduation. GO NO TO THE VISITOR CENTER GIFT SHOP ! IF you don't see what you need. Ask Diane, if its available - so items, not many are still in the warehouse. 304 743 9081. Photo: From the Blenko Glass website: www.blenkoglass.com

Question for you Hillary.
Will WVU give you back the glass?
With Blenko closing, you won't need to promote Blenko and therefore you will want it back right?
What are your thought about the closure? Watched KT on the telly but was unclear about the content, are they attempting to solve the problem or will they file Chapter 13?
Youth is wasted on the young.

I read each day but I do not often comment, the more vile commentors scare me. I miss our gentle little group.

NO! My Blenko will be on display at WVU - the purpose was to allow more people to see Blenko and WV GLass so the interest in WV and BLENKO GLASS would grow.
That goal continues to be important to me and also to the state of West Virginia.
Glass was a big part of our history, at one time glass was equal to coal.
Re: Closure. Sad - disbelief? - frozen? Describe my current state.

My apology for the comments that upset you. We can't seem to stop the 'slammer' with the negative comments. I sometimes turn off comments for 8 -10 hours at a time, it seems to help a bit. Hang in there, we'll get back to normal.

Hi Hillary and All,
As of tonight we still have two Marshall water bottles available in our store.
A customer who bought the rest today told us that there were no more left at the gift shop.
We have them priced the same as the gift shop.
Good luck to all, and we are still hoping for that miracle that will save Blenko!
