Here we see two flasks made by BLENKO for Williamsburg Restoration Glassware Reproductions sometime between 1936-1966, when BLENKO had the contract. The flanged or flared lip was a typical finish of the 1800's. Here is a link to a website that tells more about this kind of lip
According to the BLENKO Collectors' website, these reproductions are of the finest quality. I think these flasks were only made in these two colors. A close-up view of the label can be seen at the BLENKO Collector's website (scroll down):
Of course the base has a pontil. Flask making is said to be some of America's first industry in Virginia as early as the 1600's . I find the simple lines of the flasks to be elegant.
