Matt, above info from the Blenko Catalogue, but these are usually available in the VC, the cost of these decanters vary from $250 - $300
but check the Visitors Center - sometimes they are on sale
for 30-70% off.

I can never understand the purpose of a decater but I can certainly appreciate the beauty of this design and also color. I would like to see the pictures of other colors if available. Anything in ruby or red or tangerine?
Hi Hillary,
I think it is only fair that when people are told that they can purchase glass in the Visitors Center for 30% to 70% off, to disclose that these pieces are Seconds. The items offered online from the Blenko catalog will be First Quality.
Lately, the Blenko VC has begun offering one table of Firsts, but it has been our observation that they are priced the same as catalog pieces, not discounted.
We enjoy shopping the Blenko VC as much as anybody. We like buying our oddball pieces and novelties there. We highly recommend the Blenko VC as a fun shopping experience, but don't think collectors should be mislead that all of the glass there is the same quality as glass purchased from the catalog or from a Blenko vendor who sells First Quality.
As always, thank you for the forum to discuss Blenko Glass!

RUBY
they would do this in ruby.
I agree with Phani
ruby red would be specatular in this and many other - wasn't blenko known for its red
and peacock blue?
why not return to what works?
Phani
There is no purpose or useful
behavior that the floor vases
function
to my knowledge they are decorative only.
Anyone else with a thought about this?
In the beginning were they thought to be useful items?
