Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Who Is That Lady ?

Photo of Tammy Kosla, The Past President and Founding member of Blenko Collectors Society.

Who Is She? That Lady?
That lady is . . . .
Tammy Kosla a founding member of the Blenko Glass Collectors Society.
Tammy and her friend Cherri Ooten are in the process of writing a 2 or 3
series for the Blog. Subject: The origin of the Blenko Collectors Society -
How it all began, who was there, what the first 16 months were like the 6 months
before they organized and the first year!
I know you are anxious to learn about this history of this group.
In November / December Tammy will contribute information and photos
from the Early Days of Blenko Collectors Society.
We'll do this once a week until we run out of material.
Photo of Tammy Kosla from 10/09. after leaving the Blenko Collectors Society Tammy turned her energy inward and began to take care of and think of herself

Why not give us an unretouched photo of yourself?
Don't throw stone or barbs, glass breaks and people are even more fragile.
Awesome photo of Tammi
perhaps a glamour shot but nevertheless beautiful. All women deserve and should have beautiful photos of themselves taken like this in the prime of their life.
At 60+ wish I had done more photos in my 40s and 50s. If you are reading this Diane, WVJanis, Roxie, Susan, Sweetdoc, Bridgett, Maggie etc take lots of personal photos now.
New computer doesn't have cap lock stick problem.

Very good idea, my husband over my protest, insisted on an oil painting I was turning 40, this painting is one of my most valuable possessions. A consistent reminder that I was once a youthful beuty.

You all can ask TK the questions.
Remember me - I have no knowledge, but I don't mind forwarding your questions.

Photo is unretouched.
Excellent suggestion, when I have money and a husband I'll remember to ask for this.

Thank you for this positive comment.

I am so glad I don't have to look at Tammy any longer. As for taking care of herself, all she has ever done is take care of herself. She is very self centered. Look at all the glass she as bought and stole from the Blenko factory. Do you really think that she is trying to preserve Blenko when she spent the past five years stealing all the glass out of the factory she can. Also all the times someone asked her for a price on a piece of Blenko and she gave a bogus price and bought it. Did she really resign from the Blenko Glass Society or did everyone get smart and realize how fake she really is?

Did tammi ever do this task?
Not following thru was an issue with the BCS
