Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

MY I can see that nothing has changed where the running of Blenko is concerned. Oh well! I need a job too. Milton is to far for me to drive from Cabin Creek, only for that kind of money, I wonder could you send me an application. Or put me on the list for hire. I know computor to a point. I know how to take inventory and count money and make change, Plus I also know how to clean and take care of flower beds. I love beautiful glass and have been getting a education on glass from WV from this site. Wonder if I will get a e-mail for an interveiw.Plus I am friendly and happy go lucky, I like people.Wish me luck. I know how to get peoples questions answered. Nothing wrong with asking a question, sometimes it is the only way to learn something. It is like you don't fix nothing unless it is broke. In factory work that is sometimes the only way of learning for there are NO instructions. Monkey see Monkey do and please learn how quickly. Now as far as the office worker opening mail I know how to do real well, worked for Accordia for two years, Now that was an experience I will never forget, some of you need to go work with some of them women I worked with. Three family members in one room, thats a NO NO! I got in trouble for doing a job that someone else should of already done so I quit when my supervisor not only talked to me like a dog his looks could of killed. That little experience has been the biggest reason why I like to clean house and do flower bed work for people. Sorry Glen no punt intended. It did happen and hay they still work there. Will say I did enjoy that bottom of the line company job only the office poltics were not worth my peace of mind. I over opened mail. I had more than a 100 percent. It still makes me want to cry. So everyone out there with the nasty's need to stop please you are not helping the company of Blenko nor are you teaching us anything good about Blenko glass. Plus it is not any ones place to judge, I love Blenko glass and just want to enjoy the experience of at least getting to look at a picture of something I may never own or get the chance to touch. Want to play chess anyone. Sorry Hillary. I sometimes loose my smile. God Bless and leave the judging to him. Roxie

Hilary
We sent photos in December of holiday decorations and also of other West Virginia glass.
Anyone else have a problem with sending photos and not having them published? Other than Emily and I.
