Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Stain Glass Classes Forming

This class is in Charleston, WV. When I was a child my Dad and I took stain glass classes in Huntington at SHOBE's studio near Marshall University ( is this still open, do they offer classes?) If you have information about a glass making, glass jewelry glass or stain glass class in the tri state area please send the info to theblenkoproject@aol.com .
Note: Blenko Glass antique glass is used in the finest art projects and windows.

I learned most of this stuff Lemley at Blenko and it only took him a few minutes to teach me. He is a natural people person. He has such a passion for the medium of glass it makes what he is showing so much more interesting.

Bring back Limley.
He taught a glass Sol and I took in Charleston a few years ago.
